This Week in Troop 508

News

Upcoming planning meeting – All scouts need to provide their input and come up with ideas for activities they would like the troop to do.  Let your patrol leader know your ideas so they can share them during the planning meeting.  This is your troop!  You can make it great!

Popcorn money is due!

If you haven’t already turned in your money then please contact Mrs. Roman asap

Christmas Family Campout 12/9 thru 12/11 @ Camp Wisdom Hillcrest campsite, down near the pool.  Bring the whole family!  Camp 1 or 2 nights or just come for the day!

We will be having our first annual Dutch oven cooking contest. There will be awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in two categories: desserts and side dishes. So dust off your Dutch oven. Find your best recipe and prepare enough to share with the troop family for our annual Christmas feast about 6:00 pm Saturday.  Prepare for the weather, layers, extra blankets etc. This is a family camp out much like cub scout camping.  You will camp and eat with your family. For the feast Saturday evening bring a dish or two to share.

Everyone should bring a wrapped $10 gift that you would want to receive for the Chinese gift exchange.
