Five Trails MB College Registration is now open! April 7; Cost $5 per Scout

@ Plymouth Park United Methodist Church Irving 1616 W. Airport Fwy Irving 75062

Sign-up ASAP as space is limited. Priority of Eagle MB will be given to scouts that are at least First Class Rank.  It’s recommended that newer scouts sign-up for elective MBs.

Each scout must have a signed blue card from the Scoutmaster.

A Scout is Thrifty…  Camp Card time!  Pay your way to summer camp by selling camp cards.

Booth sells are going on now.  

You are entered into a drawing for every 25 cards you sell (let Mrs. Roman know when you have sold 25 cards so she can enter your name)

Everyone attending Swamp Base should make this trip.

This is a great opportunity to challenge yourself.

Earn service hours.  Free donuts!  Let’s have 100% participation!

 

Adult training opportunities – shooting sports training March 4,5,6; archery training March 5.  

SALT is great training for any leader because it explains how the program works and answers many questions about scouting.

News

 

ILST training for all youth that hold a leadership position.  Saturday 5/30 from 11:30am to 5pm at Camp Wisdom (in the case of inclement weather, it will be held at WPC).  Bring a sack lunch.

 

Woodhaven Presbyterian Church will be recognizing Richard Guzman’s Eagle Project.  The troop is invited to attend.  Sunday 6/7 at 10:30am.

 

Due to record flooding, the June campout / activity will be decided soon.

 

Chocolate sales are going on now!  See Troop leadership for more information.

This Week in Troop 508

Memorial Day is a time to honor those who gave their lives serving our country.
Join us in honoring those men and women by placing flags on gravestones at Oak Grove Cemetery, Saturday 9:00am 1413 E Irving Blvd Irving 75060.

The Troop survey will be closing soon!
If you have not voted yet, please do so.
The PLC will build the year’s calendar based on input by all Scouts in the Troop. The Youth Troop survey is located at the Troop website: h​ttp://irvingtroop508.org

Next Troop meeting will be our summer camp physicals. Our Troop physicians are generously offering their skills to help save you time and money.
