Popcorn Time! – Scouts can fundraise to pay for long term camps and high adventure trips by selling popcorn!  Let’s encourage all our scouts to participate.  Important dates:

10/2 – Blitz day meet at Woodhaven at 1:00-3:00pm (prize for most sales!)

10/11 – Last day to turn in orders

11/5 – Popcorn pick up TBD

11/14 – Last day to turn in money

Beach Campout – Camping on the beach!  Saturday 10/8 thru Monday 10/10 @ Sea Rim State Park; Cost $50 per person covers food, camp fee, and fuel

Other Opportunities

Jamboree on the Air –  October 15 at the National Scouting Museum 10am-5pm.  Scouts use amateur radio to connect with other scouts and ham radio operators from around the world, the nation, and in their own communities.  There will be more than 7 contact stations, including;  HF,UHF, VHF stations, a satellite radio station, a repeater, basic electronics demonstrations, a Morse code station, an internet radio station, fox hunts, and much more!

Fall Five Trails MB College Registration is now open! Sept 24; Cost $5 per Scout
@ Coppell Bible Fellowship Church 751 W Sandy Lake Rd. Coppell 75019
Sign­up ASAP as space is limited. Priority of Eagle MB will be given to scouts that are at least First Class Rank. It’s recommended that newer scouts sign­up for elective MBs.
Each scout must have a signed blue card from the Scoutmaster.

The Troop has been asked to do a Flag Ceremony at the Racers Reunion Banquet, 9/17. We will sell popcorn there as well.
