A Scout is Thrifty…  There is still time to sell Camp Cards!  Pay your way to summer camp. You are entered into a drawing for every 25 cards you sell (let Mrs. Roman know when you have sold 25 cards so she can enter your name)

Earn service hours.  Donuts and lunch will be provided!  Let’s have 100% participation!

Swamp Base Swim Check – 5/7 10:30am @ Camp Wisdom

Required for everyone attending Swamp Base; please practice beforehand

Scouts who are going to Summer Camp can also test but will have other opportunities to test. Please arrive about 10:00am to give yourself time to get ready as the troop must be ready to enter the water at 10:30.

Summer Camp 2016 – 6/26-7/2 @ Kerr Scout Ranch at Slippery Falls Oklahoma

Summer Camp money is due by April 26; cost is $240 per scout, $120 per adult

Once your $100 deposit is paid please email your merit badge choices to or bring your choices to the next troop meeting

Backpacking Trip this weekend – Depart Woodhaven @ 6am this Saturday, Return Sunday evening

Cost $20/person, includes pizza on the way home Sunday, does not include trail food.

If you haven’t already paid, please pay at the next troop meeting.

Training enhances the quality of the program we offer our scouts. Training reduces conflict and misunderstandings that can occur on troop activities, especially campouts.
SALT is great training for any leader because it explains how the program works and answers many questions about scouting.
SALT is being offered 4/9 8am­5pm at St. Ann’s Center in Coppell; email Pete Parish for SALT sign­up information

Troop Court of Honor – Next troop meeting @ 7pm.  Our twice a year event to formally recognize Scouts’ achievements.  Scouts’ family members are invited to share in this event.  Scouts should be in full uniform including merit badge sash, etc…

 

Five Trails MB College Registration is now open! April 7; Cost $5 per Scout

Sign-up ASAP as space is limited. Priority of Eagle MB will be given to scouts that are at least First Class Rank.  It’s recommended that newer scouts sign-up for elective MBs.
