Troop Sweatshirt Order Time! – FALL is just around the corner!

Cost is $20 each +$2(2XL) +$3(3XL). We are ordering these at cost so you MUST pay Ms. Roman prior to the order being placed with the vendor.

Hiking Merit Badge – First 2 troop meetings in September will be the classroom portion.  The hikes will start in October.

 

 

Trinity Trash Bash 9/28 9am to noon – Earn conservation service hours! TW Richardson Grove Park Irving: a cleanup of Campion Trail along the Elm Fork of the Trinity River; Bring a canned food item & receive a t-shirt; hot dog lunch is provided. Contact: Denise Bolton 469-844-5425

Camp Constantin Sept.6-8. Cost: $25, $35 after 8/22

Hercules Challenge, Gladiatorial Games, Triathlon, Patch Bingo, Costume Competition, Lodgeball, Volleyball, Gagaball, Corn Hole, Board Games, plus more!

A Scout is Courteous…  Please bring a reusable water bottle or cup to troop meetings. This will cut down on the number of cups we are throwing away.

Also, we need to be respectful of the church as a whole, this includes the kitchen area and the ice maker. When getting ice, use the blue scoopon the side of the ice maker and fill your bottle over the sink, not over the ice maker, so we don’t spill ice on the floor. Thank you!

 

 

Troop Court of Honor is coming soon, 9/24 – any advancements or merit badges to be recognized at this COH need to be turned in to Mr. Buchanan no later than 9/10

Limited to 12 scouts age 12+; bring sack lunch & water, MB book, Blue card, & Aviation MB workbook, completion of the workbook is required for sign off by MB counselor; the material to complete the workbook will be covered in class w/the exception of item 3b(build a model FPG-9)

Cub Scout Hike this Saturday 7/27 8AM @ Coppell Nature Center 367 Freeport Parkway Coppell TX 75019; Meet at the Biodiversity Education Center

2 miles, bring plenty of water

These hikes invite out local cub scout packs and are recruiting events for our troop so please try to make it if you can.
