News

Outdoor Court of Honor – this Saturday! June 20 7pm @ park next to Woodhaven.

We will social distance. Bring your own camp chair & bring your own food for picnic afterward, it will be short and simple. Will be on Zoom for those who aren’t comfortable attending in-person.

 

 

Troop Meetings – Patrols will begin meeting outside @ Woodhaven field (social distancing). Different patrol each week will have a skill and activity. The rest of the troop will join via Zoom.

This Tuesday, 6/23, is the Phoenix Patrol.

Eagle Project Work Day for Adam N. – Moving trees between pots. At the Paulina st greenhouse 800 Pauline St. Euless TX 76039. Everyone needs to bring a water bottle and if possible work gloves and small gardening shovels. It will be a weekday on the last week of the month. We will let the troop know soon with the date.

2021 National Jamboree – Circle Ten Council has 10 Troops reserved to go to Jamboree. Scouts must be at least First Class & 12 years of age. Go here for more information.

Activities, campfire, cooking. Scouts should prepare a short (2 min) skit, song, joke, or something.

We will also have our Order of the Arrow Call-Out

You can drop off payment (check or money order) in an envelope with the scout’s name in Mark’s mailbox at 1702 Glen Valley Dr Irving, TX 75061 AND text Mark Nicholls at 214-507-8185 telling him it was dropped off or make payment over Venmo. Email Mrs. Cleveland with your MB choices.

Camp Alexander in Colorado, July 18-26.

The troop will be leaving on Saturday July 18, staying overnight in Amarillo then continuing on to the camp on Sunday. They will again stay in Amarillo on the return trip the following weekend.

Cost of the camp is $360 + $40 transportation cost + $13 Camp Alexander tshirt + $90 optional white-water rafting excursion.  Adult cost is $295 + $40 transportation + $13 Camp Alexander tshirt + $90 optional white-water rafting excursion
Due 5/31/20- Cost of individual merit badges (merit badge sign-up begins 5/27/20) + optional white-water rafting excursion $90

Everyone going needs their medical form (attached), including Part C signed by a medical professional.
