Troop Virtual Campout – Saturday August 15. The campfire will be at 7pm. Individuals or each patrol need to plan a skit, joke, cooking demonstration, magic trick, or something. We would like all scouts to participate.

Troop 510 Court of Honor next Tuesday 7/28 @7pm. This will be our Troop Meeting. You can attend in-person at the field outside Woodhaven or join over Zoom. Former T508 Scoutmaster, Blaine Whitgrove, will be receiving the Silver Beaver award from Circle Ten Council.

Eagle Project Workday for Nick B – Building a turtle trap to help an organization called the Junior Master Naturalists to observe and collect data. We will be meeting on July 11th at 8am at the Bolton’s house,1533 Fireside Way 75060. Refreshments will be provided. May take around three hours or more. Bring a water bottle.

2021 National Jamboree – Circle Ten Council has 10 Troops reserved to go to Jamboree. Scouts must be at least First Class & 12 years of age. Go here for more information.

Eagle Project Work Day for Adam N. – Moving trees between pots. My eagle project will be this upcoming Friday the 26th at the PaulinAa st greenhouse in Euless. The address is 800 Pauline St. Euless TX 76039. It will start at 7am and go to 2:30pm and you can show up after 7 if you can’t get there that early. We will be offering to give rides there. When you arrive, you can either try to find a spot along the street, or you can park at J.A. carr park around the corner. You will need to bring work gloves, a water bottle, and if you have one, a small gardening shovel. I have attached an image of both J.A. carr park and the greenhouse on a map. The greenhouse is circled in red and the parking areas are highlighted. If you choose to park in the street, make sure to not block any driveways. We will have water and snacks. After we will be grilling hot dogs and hamburgers.
People who need a ride need to email me by Thursday night at
Camp Cards need to be turned in. Turn in money and any unsold cards.

Summer Camp – Camp Alexander Colorado has canceled their summer camps.
The troop is waiting to be refunded.
Scouts who still want to go to summer camp can sign-up for Maverick camp at camp Constantin July 5-11. Trevor Rees Jones has an option if Constantin fills up.
